Amber Moss - MetLife Fellow

Le Lycee Graduate, Amber Moss is currently a Literacy Coach for Region 89, Juan Morel Campos Secondary School in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She has worked as an English teacher for four years and she earned her Master’s Degree at City University New York, Brooklyn College.

As a cooperating teacher with Columbia University’s Teachers College, she gained expertise in balanced literacy and the reading/writing workshop model. Amber aspires to continue her studies in literacy with particular focus upon the connection between lifelong reading practices and standardized testing.
